In part one, Serena speaks with three individuals about how wealth can be obtained using various resources. Generational Wealth is a tool that isn't often available to people of color, but what we want to do here is share those tools and resources to help us maintain stability and create wealth over time for ourselves and our families in the present.
Patrick Pierre-Louis, also known as Pierre, is an entrepreneur, investor, mindset coach, & owner of a multifamily investment property. He also has a career in Finance where he manages the revenue & profitability for a publicly traded advertising & marketing company. His philosophy on life is simple: live a purposeful & authentic life, and leave the world better than you found it. When it comes to building wealth, he focuses not just on the strategies on how to grow wealthy, but how people are positively impacted in the process. The family, friends, & community aspect of building wealth is critical to his financial philosophy. Outside of handling business-related matters, he’s also a creative who enjoys writing, performing music, and poetry. Let's take a dive into what we think we know about the financial world and dive a little more into the mix. Pierre will tell us how his path has created a different understanding of what generational wealth can do for us and how we can take steps towards doing the same for ourselves.
Chris Lora—founder of Fund The Mental WORKS. Born and raised in Washington Heights. Norhan Ahmed is an Egyptian American writer, poet, speaker, community builder, and entrepreneur. She is originally from Brooklyn, NY. She has worked in the HR industry for the past couple of years and has now switched her career to copywriting/content writing. She enjoys writing for women-owned brands and businesses. In her coaching practice, she helps clients heal physical and emotional pain by addressing the mind-body connection. She does this by using psycho-spiritual tools and methods to cure chronic ailments from the inside out. These tools realign your mind and body to achieve overall mental and physical wellness by getting to the root of these issues. With a new twist on what we might correlate "wealth" with, Norhan gives us a new perspective on how we can obtain generational wealth spiritually, emotionally, and mentally within ourselves, creating it for those to come.
